Gay love film netflix
After watching “Marry My Expired Body,” I decided to finally tackle my list of the gay Taiwan films available on Netflix: “Eternal Summer,” “Your Call Engraved Herein,” and “Dear Ex.” Here are my reviews for them.
~ Warning! Spoilers! Taiwanese Movie Review: “Eternal Summer” 盛夏光年 shèng xià guāng nián (2006) ~
“Eternal Summer” is the oldest of the three and my least anticipated. Kang Cheng-hsing and Yu Shou-heng were forced to be friends in elementary school. In high noun, Kang, aka Johnathan, and Yu, aka Shane, possess a strong friendship despite having opposite personalities. Novel transfer student Hui-chia, aka Carrie from Hong Kong, hits on Kang, and that’s when Kang realizes he is gay and in love with his best friend, Yu. However, after getting rejected by Kang, Hui-chia finds herself in Yu’s arms. Yu and Hui-chia start dating secretly to hide it from Kang because they care for their common friend. “Eternal Summer” is an emotional coming-of-age film about friendship, first adore, and yearning.
“Eternal Summer” received four nominations at the 43rd Golden Horse Awards, where Chan

What are some good gay movies on the Netflix?
R95, out of the novel movies I listed only ONE has a elated ending, it's Five Dances. I've seen it. It's a fairly good movie, with great dancing. It's a bit slow and "boring" at times though. Not much dialog at all. The cinematography is beautiful though, and the boys have chemistry. It was a nice enough movie.
There's many older movies that have happy endings too, like Beautiful Thing, Touch Of Pink, Construct The Yuletide Gay, Just A Question Of Cherish, Breakfast With Scot, Straight Jacket, Shelter, Latter Days, East Side Story, Maurice, Wilde, Longhorns, Boy Culture, Noah's ARK: Jumping The Broom, Mambo Italiano, The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green, The Curiosity of Chance, All Over The Guy, Trick, Guys & Balls.
You also have silly movies that are cute, romantic and funny, although of not high quality, like Is It Just Me, eCupid, Another Gay Movie.
